He/It - Scandinavian bastard - Web developer & Freelance artist

About

I'm a 28 year old artist and web developer from Denmark, who's been part of the furry fandom since the early 2010s. I've been doing commissions within the fandom since 2015, and is currently stepping into the indie merch and art table scene as well. Most of my personal pieces include the themes of familiar bonds or strong intimacy, I love exploring character interactions between flawed persons.I am also an avid writer and hope to share some of my stories someday. I'm currently working on a novel.

Important note: A +$50 design charge will be applied to all reference sheet commissions if you only have text details to describe your character, that I have to work out from. Terms of Service

These terms and conditions apply to all types of illustrative commission work, unless otherwise has been discussed with the client (Henceforth referred to as “you”).
When commissioning the artist (Henceforth referred to as “I” or “me”), you abide that you have read and will follow these terms. If you are unsure of any part of this contract, please contact me so I can elaborate and we can discuss potential compromises.
LAST MODIFICATION: JULY 30, 2020

General Information

  • The paying PayPal account must belong to a person of 18 years or older. You can still order a commission from me if you’re above the age of 13, as long as this happens with the consent and through the PayPal account of your parents or legal guardian.

  • I will not sell any illustrations featuring adult or pornographic content to people under 18 years of age (Or older, depending on your country’s law for purchasing pornographic content) even if you have consent from the owner of the paying PayPal account.

  • I define adult/pornographic illustrations as: Any commission where sex toys, genitalia, the anus or female nipples are shown. Clear bulges, ‘camel-toes’ and nipples showing through the clothes count as well. Both explicit as well as implied sexual intercourse will be considered adult as well.

  • Some sexual jokes/references as well as non-sexual touching and kissing is fine.

  • I do not normally accept commission from people with unresolved bewares that are less than 6 months old but will work on a case by case basis. Extreme cases might result in permanent blacklist.

  • I’m much more likely to accept a commission from someone with a recent beware if they’re upfront with me from the get-go rather than leave me to find it myself.

  • You must have a visual reference for your character when you commission me, unless otherwise has been discussed. A reference sheet is preferred, but just a clear full body image might suffice. Contact me if unsure.

  • I reserve the right to decline any commission inquiry for any reason. I will always try to communicate my reasoning so that we may come to a compromise but the final word remains with me.

  • I reserve the right to cancel any commission with a full refund at any time for any reason.

  • I reserve the right to change my prices at any time without warning. This will not affect current commissions but will affect future commissions.

  • I reserve the right to change this Terms of Service at any time without warning. This will not affect current commissions, but will affect future commissions.

Wills and Wonts

I will draw:

  • Most animal/beast species (Both real life and mythological).

  • Anthro and feral creatures.

  • Mature and pornographic content.

  • Any gender & sex as well as pairings of any sexuality.

  • Any fetishes (Some extreme fetishes might come with an extra fee and will not be posted to my own gallery).

  • Humans and humanoid characters on a case by case basis.

I won't draw:

  • Minors in sexual situations (Minors defined as any character under the age of 18 and/or having the physical appearance of a child or adolescent animal).

  • Non-sapient characters in sexual situations, i.e. I will not do an adult/pornographic illustration of someone’s pet, however I can do it of a quadruped/feral character with human intelligence and ability to consent; A popular example could be Scar from The Lion King.

  • Hate art with the purpose of directing negativity toward a person, a group, a certain lifestyle, an organization e.t.c. independent of my own beliefs and feelings to the subject.

  • In someone else’s style. I can change certain aspects of my own style if you do not like it, but I will not intentionally mimic another person’s style.

Ordering

  • You can order a commission by contacting me through DM through FurAffinity (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/shadoweyenoom/) or Twitter (https://twitter.com/Eyenoom), or through IM systems like Telegram (@Eyenoom). You can also contact me through E-mail ([email protected]).

  • Once you’re ready to pay I will send you an invoice through PayPal – Payment will happen through USD (United States Dollar) unless otherwise has been discussed. Once you’ve paid, you’ve agreed to abide by my Terms of Service. Any discussions of the terms should be done beforehand.

  • I charge a minimum of 60% of the payment upfront, and the full amount before I will deliver the finished files. If you do not pay full upfront, the WIPs beyond the sketch phase will be heavily watermarked.

Working procedure and delivery

  • If you’re more than one person ordering together, please either arrange a Discord/Telegram group chat or choose a representative for the group to work as a contact. Unless otherwise has been discussed, I will only be sending WIPs to the person who were written as contact person unto the form, and it is their job to deliver the WIP and gather opinions of the rest of the group.

  • After the minimum 60% upfront payment has been made, I will prepare a WIP sketch. No extra fees will be applied when requesting corrections during this stage.

  • If requesting a complete overhaul, meaning I begin from scratch if the scene was not what you expected, you give up rights for the old sketch that I may rework into an YCH.

  • Fees can be applied if you continue requesting multiple complete overhauls to prevent wasting my time and effort, if you’re not sure of what you want for your commission.

  • Requesting smaller corrections such as the placement of a leg or expression changes will not have you giving up rights to the sketch.

  • Please make sure to list ALL corrections needed. Once I have adjusted the sketch, I will send another WIP for approval.

  • Once the sketch has been approved I will continue with colors (and shading & background when applicable) – At this stage, corrections in composition and pose can no longer be requested without additional fees. The fee will be discussed on a case by case basis.

  • Once the piece has been finished, I will send a preview for one last approval in case I’ve made any color mistakes or forgotten details that were earlier mentioned.

  • Once the final piece has been approved, I will send you a Dropbox link with the files and, if requested, a ZIP-file with copies to your E-mail address.

  • The files will consist of a full resolution piece for personal use and a watermarked piece for public use. Please look to “Rights and Licensing” for more information about how to use the different version.

  • I do not have a set time for when commissions are finished. Most commissions take from 1 week to 1 month, however please do allow up to 2 months. Very large commissions, slow communication from client’s side, or many requests of edits might extend that time. If the wait time will ever go beyond PayPal’s buyer protection limit, we can work out a refund and repayment to refresh the protection.

  • Set deadlines of less than 2 months will cost from +10% and up, depending on commission type and timeframe.

  • Deadlines must be discussed before the start of the commission.

  • If I am unable to uphold the deadline, the deadline fee will be refunded and you’ll get a 25% discount on the original commission price.

  • I have the right to refuse a deadline if I believe I will not be able to uphold it.

Refund Policy

  • I do not offer refunds for completed works.

  • If you request a refund after I’ve sent the first WIP, but before it has been approved, you will be provided with a full refund and I will retain the rights to the sketch.

  • If you request a refund after the first WIP has been approved (You may approve the sketch and request a refund at the same time), it will be provided on a case by case basis depending on how much work has been completed.

  • On top of your partial refund for the work that was not yet completed, you will be provided with the unfinished work and retain all the same rights to it that you would have if the commission had been completed under normal circumstances.

  • Opening a dispute on PayPal to get your money refunded without contacting me first to discuss and work out a compromise will result in a blacklist and beware.

  • If I, for whatever reason, is not able to complete the commission you will be provided with a full refund. You will be given the unfinished work and retain all the same rights to it that you would have if the commission had been completed under normal circumstances.

  • If my inability to complete the commission was due to disrespectful attitude or harassment from your side, you will be given a full refund but will not be given the unfinished work and I will instead work it into an YCH.

  • If you cancel the order and request a refund, it will be sent to you within 7 business days, unless otherwise discussed, to allow me time to transfer money to PayPal. If I cancel, the refund will be sent immediately unless otherwise discussed.

Rights and Licensing

  • Commissions are a service – I still retain all the rights to the artwork while you retain all rights to your character(s).

  • You can crop the image into an icon, wallpaper e.t.c. but when posting the full image publicly it should remain unedited unless permission for otherwise has been given.

  • When uploading publicly, you must use the public watermarked file that was delivered alongside the full resolution one for private use.

  • Clear credit must be given, either through linkback to one of my profiles or by a written statement. Fx: “Art by Eyenoom” / “Art by ShadowEyenoom”

  • The artwork is for personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes. If you wish to sell the artwork in any shape or form, or want to include it in a commercial project (Such as games, book covers, e.t.c.) please contact me to discuss and work out a commercial license.

  • You’re allowed to put the artwork on physical products such as cups, T-shirts e.t.c. for personal use. You are not allowed to sell any of these products, whether directly or through a third party website.

  • I have the right to post the commission as part of my portfolio unless otherwise has been discussed.

  • This includes sharing WIPs, as well as offering the full res files as part of my Patreon or similar services.

  • I also have the right to refuse to post it anywhere and only deliver it through private message. In this case, you will be allowed to post it to your own gallery except for certain circumstances, which will be discussed prior to payment if needed.

  • You can request anonymity if you do not want others to know who ordered the commission.

  • You can also request the commission to be private and not posted anywhere. This may result in a fee. If you know at a given time that you want it to remain private, please let me know when you order your commission.

  • If you do not let me know at the start of the commission, WIPs of it may be shared in my telegram group and other channels. The moment I know the commission is to remain private, no WIPs will be shared elsewhere unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • If you let me sell the artwork as a print, you will receive a 10% discount when you order.

  • Please let me know when you place your order if you’re interested.

  • I have the right to refuse if I feel the subject matter will not sell.

Rights and Licensing

  • All commission inquiries and discussion must happen through private messages. Public messages on my profile will be ignored and I will contact you via PM.

  • I do not always respond to business messages during the weekends. If it’s something urgent or crucial, please include “Urgent” somewhere in the title or in the start of your message via IMs where titles aren’t available. Otherwise, please wait for business days for a response.

  • Please allow up to 48 hours for a reply on business days. Sometimes I’m busy and not able to get back to you right away. Please include “Urgent” somewhere in the title or in the start of your message via IMs where titles aren’t available, if it’s something that requires immediate attention.

  • Even if you see that the message has been opened/read, please allow a minimum of 12 hours before sending me a reminder. I sometimes open messages while busy to see if it’s something I can respond to quickly.

  • Always feel free to send me a reminder if I have not responded within 48 hours to an unopened message on business days or 12 hours to an opened message.

  • I will let you know if I will be unavailable for communication – For example during vacations, attending a con e.t.c.

  • I expect you to be open to communication if you commission me. If you do not respond to an unopened message within 7 days or an opened message within 3 days (without being given a prior notice that you’ll be unavailable) I will consider your commission On Hold and stop working on it. A reminder will be sent to you, and work can be resumed when contact is initiated again.

  • When commissions are placed on hold, I will place my focus on other commissions, and the one on hold one will be placed at the bottom of my queue to ensure good workflow for me, which can result in delays as to when you’ll receive the piece. You can prevent this from happening by maintaining good contact and inform me when you’ll be unavailable for a specific time period.

  • If you continuously avoid responding for 3 weeks straight and I’m unable to get in contact with you, I will consider your commission canceled.

  • If it’s still in the sketch phase, I will refund the full amount and rework the piece into an YCH.

  • If I’m done or close to done with the commission, I will send you the finished piece as if the job has been completed under normal circumstances. If you at a later point want something corrected (That wasn’t an obvious fault from my side), this will be handled on a case by case basis.
